Come pick up your yearbook at the LMS/LHS back to school night. We will have all the elementary, middle and high school books in the cafeteria from 5pm-6.30pm for you! We have a few extras too in case you didn't preorder one last year. $25 for the LES and LMS books, $65 for the LHS books.
We will also have ALL the books at the elementary back to school night tomorrow.

LHS Staff participated in a self care activity in preparation for the 23-24 school year. Mental health and self care for students and staff will continue to be a focus for our campus.

Yearbooks are here!
Drive-thru yearbook distribution will be this Thursday, August 3rd, at the High School from 4pm-7pm.
We will have all the books for elementary, middle and high school available.
You can pick up for friends or family if they are out of town.
We have a few extra books to sell on Thursday, for exact cash or check. $25 for Elementary and Middle, and $65 for High School.
All books will also be available at the open houses too, if you can't make it this Thursday.

Nineteen students from La Grange High School were recently inducted into the Blinn College chapter of the Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor Society. Mu Alpha Theta is a National High School and Junior College mathematics club for honor students that is co-sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the Mathematical Association of America. On Saturday, May 27th, 26 members of the La Grange High School Band performed at the UIL Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest at Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville, Tx. Five quartets performed and made a Division 2 - Excellent rating. Six students performed solos, and all six soloists earned UIL State medals:

Thank you Round Top Festival Institute for hosting the Mighty Leopard Band Spring Concert tonight!


The LHS Wind Ensemble performed today at the UIL State Wind Ensemble Festival at the University of Texas - Austin, in the Bates Recital Hall. The band received a placard for UIL State Wind Ensemble Festival Distinguished Performance. Jose Estrada, Junior, was awarded a UIL State Gold Medal for his solo work in Prelude, Siciliano and Rondo by Malcom Arnold. Their other selections included English Folk Song Suite, Movement 1 - Seventeen Come Sunday by Ralph Vaughn Williams, and Spoon River by Percy Grainger, ed. Carson/Naylor. The band was complimented by the panel for their mature quality of sound, and outstanding level of musical artistry. Congratulations, Band!



What an exciting Teacher Appreciation Week! LHS finished out the week with a hot dog lunch sponsored by the Class of 1981 and Mr. Pineda grillmaster, treats from R&R Shaved Ice sponsored by Fayetteville Bank, a hamburger cook out lunch from LGISD, sweet treats from LHS PTO, appreciation cake from Walmart, kolaches from Weikels Bakery, a staff pulled pork lunch sponsored by the La Grange KC's and to top it off cupackes from The Best Little Cake Shop in Texas! Thank you to everyone for supporting our teachers and staff it has been greatly appreciated!

Congratulations to LHS Senior Kylee Kelley! She has been awarded a $20K Senior Scholarship from the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo! She qualified for this scholarship via participation in the HLSR School Art Competition.
Only 20 of these scholarships are awarded each year from the rodeo. A La Grange High School Senior has been selected 3 years in a row!
