Tuesday night, current members of Delta Epsilon Phi, also known as the German Honor Society, helped Frau Faske induct 7 LGHS juniors into the organization. The purpose of Delta Epsilon Phi is to recognize high school scholastic achievement in the study of German and to promote interest in the study of the German language, literature, and culture - locally and globally.
To be eligible, students must have a 95+ cumulative average after 3 semesters of German studies, an overall academic record of 3.0+, and be of strong character.

LHS had 3 students earn a spot in the 2023 ATSSB All-Region Jazz Band! Congratulations to Jose Estrada - 1st Trumpet, Dominick Smith - 1st Alto Sax, and Vanessa Adams - Jazz Piano. The Region Jazz Band will meet on January 19th and perform in concert on Saturday, January 20th, at the Bastrop HS Performing Arts Center!

Congratulations to these La Grange High School students! They were recently awared National Recognition from Colleboard. Elgible students were invited to apply for the recognition program during their sophomore or junior year. These students earned this academic honor because of their GPA of 3.5 or higher, and an outstanding performance on the PSAT/National Merit Scholarhip Qualifying Test and/or AP Exams.
