
The La Grange High School academics team placed 1st at the District 22-4A UIL Academics Spring Meet. Regional qualifiers will compete at the Region 3-4A Academic Meet on Saturday, April 27, at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches.

La Grange High School Announcement: Awarded! La Grange High School, the City of La Grange, and the La Grange Economic Development Committee have partnered to enhance the welding facilities at La Grange High School. LHS was awarded 55,317 to fund infrastructure improvements. La Grange High School would like to thank the City of La Grange and the Economic Development Committee for the opportunity to grow Fayette County's workforce and for the continued partnership.  


2024-2025 Course Selections and 4-year Plans have been mailed.  Please review the mailout information and contact High School Counselors for any questions ( 979-968-4800).  Schedule change requests are due by May 1, 2024.  

On Wednesday, March 21, La Grange ISD hosted our Special Services Prom. We would like to extend a thank you to our sponsors, the La Grange High School National Honor Society for their support during the event, and to our Cosmetology program for their expertise in preparing our students with nails, hair, and makeup!

Congratulations to these La Grange High School Art students!  Their artwork has moved on to the next round of judging in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Western Art Competition. The works will hang at the Hayloft Gallery at NRG Park during the Rodeo.  
We will host our local Community Western Art Show on Saturday February 10th from 11am-1pm. The show will be open to the public and over 150 artworks will be on display 1st-12th grade. Please join us to view the artwork and support our students!

Class of 2025 and 2026: 
The National Honor Society is a national organization for high school students.  Selection is based on four criteria: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. The La Grange Chapter is beginning the selection process for new members for the 2023-25 school year.  If you have taken at least one advanced class and believe you have a cumulative GPA of 90.0 or above through the fall semester of Sophomore (Class of 2026) or Junior (Class of 2025) year, please complete the google form: 2024-2025 NHS REQUEST FOR GPA CALCULATION that was sent to your school email.  The form must be completed by the student through their school email by the end of the day on Friday, February 23rd.  If you did not receive the email, please send an email to lhs_counselors@lgisd.net with NHS in the subject line. Students who submit the form after February 23rd at 3:30 will be ineligible to apply for the 24-25 school year. 

Friendly Reminder:  If your student is interested in taking a dual credit class next school year: A mandatory Dual Credit Informational Meeting will be hosted by Blinn personnel on Monday, Feb. 12th at 5:30pm in the HS Cafeteria. Students will be required to submit their ApplyTexas application by this date in order to enroll in dual credit courses. Computers will be available at 4:30pm to allow for students/parents to utilize before the meeting. Counselors will assist with this process.
