In an effort to help pass on information about the relief and recovery from aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, La Grange ISD is devoting a section of its website to post relevant information. This information will include information from FEMA, AMEN Food Pantry, Second Chance and many other organizations that are leading and assisting in the recovery efforts.
We are excited to announce that this is the year for our purple cover! It only comes around once every 4 years at LHS and it's going to be rich with the design. Our students are working harder than ever on ALL the covers/content and we want to give you a chance to pre-order the books NOW while they are at a lower cost! The price increases on OCTOBER 31st!

You can order by filling out a form attached to this announcement and send the (form and) payment to school with your student. We ask that EACH child have their own form filled out with their school/student information. This helps us a lot!!

Assistance is available for students that have been evacuated, are homeless, or displaced as a result of the effects of Hurricane Harvey. Please note that students may continue to attend LGISD, even if they have been displaced to another district. Transportation will be provided to LGISD. District staff will be available to answer your questions Tuesday, September 5 and Wednesday, September 6 from 8:00-4:00 at 560 N. Monroe. (LGISD Administration Office)

Voters in the La Grange ISD approved a $37.9 M Bond Package today. Final vote tallies were 744 (63.5%) in favor and 427 (36.5%) against the bond. Superintendent William (Bill) Wagner stated, "The Board of Trustees, the Bond Steering Committee, and I thank the voters for supporting this bond proposal. It is a great step forward for both the students and the entire La Grange community. You have my commitment and the commitment of the Board of Trustees to continue being good stewards of your money as we move forward with the construction projects. We appreciate your trust and support."

La Grange ISD received STAAR results for the 2015-2016 school year. Hermes/Intermediate, La Grange Middle School, and La Grange High School all received a "Met Standard" rating for the 2016 administration of STAAR. La Grange ISD as a district also "Met Standard".
