Public Notice of Nondiscrimination in Career and Technology Education Programs
LGISD offers career and technology education programs each year. Admission to these programs is based on Texas Education Agency's specified prerequisites, age appropriateness, interest, aptitude, and class space available. LGISD does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, or handicap in its vocational programs, services, or activities. Public Notice for Children with Disabilities
The La Grange ISD offers a free appropriate education to all children with disabilities ages 3-21. Services are for students who are deaf-blind, visually impaired, and auditorily impaired beginning at birth. For more information, please call the Special Education Dept. at 979-968-4102.
Pursuant to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the District has a duty to identify, refer, evaluate, and if eligible, provide a free, appropriate education to disabled students. For additional information about the rights of parents of eligible children or for answers to any questions you might have about identification, evaluations, and placement into Section 504, please contact the District's 504 Coordinator at 979-968-7000 or by mail at P.O. Participation in Federal Programs
ATTENTION: Private and Private Non-Profit Schools within the La Grange ISD District Boundary (includes Non-profit facilities for the Neglected and Delinquent).
You may be eligible to participate in services through federal programs. Please contact your local school district regarding participation in the planning and receipt of services through federal programs. Contact the district no later than Friday, June 1, 2019.

Notice of Annual Title I Meeting
The Annual Title I meeting will be held Monday, September 23, 2019 at the La Grange ISD Norma Webb Center beginning at 5:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss Title 1 programs at Hermes Intermediate School and to request feedback concerning these programs from parents.
