La Grange Independent School District offers career and technical education programs of study in Agribusiness, Carpentry, Accounting & Financial Services, Marketing & Sales, Early Learning, Teaching & Training, Exercise Science & Wellness, Healthcare Diagnostics, Culinary Arts, Health & Wellness, Welding, Programming & Software Development, Advanced Manufacturing & Machinery Mechanics, and Engineering. Admission to these programs is based on student interest, age and grade requirements specified by the Texas Education Agency.

It is the policy of La Grange ISD not to discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex or handicap in its vocational programs, services or activities as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.

Public Notice for Children with Disabilities

The La Grange ISD offers a free appropriate education to all children with disabilities ages 3-21. Services are for students who are deaf-blind, visually impaired, and auditorily impaired beginning at birth. For more information, please call the Special Education Dept. at 979-968-4102.

Pursuant to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the District has a duty to identify, refer, evaluate, and if eligible, provide a free, appropriate education to disabled students. For additional information about the rights of parents of eligible children or for answers to any questions you might have about identification, evaluations, and placement into Section 504, please contact the District's 504 Coordinator at 979-968-7000 or by mail at P.O. Participation in Federal Programs

ATTENTION: Private and Private Non-Profit Schools within the La Grange ISD District Boundary (includes Non-profit facilities for the Neglected and Delinquent).

You may be eligible to participate in services through federal programs. Please contact your local school district regarding participation in the planning and receipt of services through federal programs. Contact the district no later than Friday, June 1, 2019.

Title IX

In its efforts to promote nondiscrimination, La Grange ISD does not discriminate on the basis of race, age, color, religion, national origin, gender, disability or any other basis prohibited by law in providing education services, activities, and programs, including CTE programs, or employment practices in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972; and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990(ADA), as amended, which incorporates and expands upon the requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.
