Come join us for Story Book Night on Feb. 20 starting at 4:30 pm. Wear your pajamas and grab milk and cookies from the cafeteria. Then pick a room and listen to a story read by one of our teachers. The book fair will also be open from 4:30-6:30 pm that evening.

Our Book Fair will take place February 20-27, 2024. Families can shop our fair on the following days:

Wednesday, Feb. 21 4:00-5:30 pm

Thursday, Feb. 22 4:00-5:30 pm

Friday, Feb. 23 4:00-5:30 pm

Monday, Feb. 26 4:00-5:30 pm

Tuesday, Feb. 27 4:00-5:30 pm

Students will be able to shop during the school day also. (No family shopping during the school day.) Please see this schedule for dates of student book fair visits.

We accept cash, checks made out to LGISD, gift cards purchased at efairs.literati.com, and credit cards (if adults are using them.)

Please note: If students make purchases on their own during the school day, they will need to purchase at least one book in order to purchase any non-reading items such as journals, school supplies, or other novelty items.

Individual students may come by the library from 7:45 AM - 8:00 AM to return and check out books. The library is open during the school day for class visits.

The La Grange Elementary Library does not charge any fines for late books. We do ask that books are returned as soon as students are finished with them so another student can have a turn.

If a book is lost or damaged, we ask that the student pay the cost associated with repairing or replacing the book. The fee for books which can be repaired is $5.00. The fee for a lost or completely damaged book is the purchase price of the book. As of August 2022, the library can accept cash or checks made out to La Grange ISD or LGISD, or credit card payments using Revtrac.
