January 6, 2021

Good Morning Parents!

First of all, thank you for a smooth“first” morning drop off, as we all move through our exciting phase 2 opening for La Grange Elementary School. The new construction has caused us to have a few “beyond our control glitches” which we need for you to be aware, the most important one is:

Currently, the phone lines for our campus are down, so If you need to contact our office or your child’s teacher, please call central administration and they can forward our voicemails or possibly answer your questions in the meantime

Hopefully, this will be remedied by the end of the day, but we will send out a notification as soon as our phone lines are back up and working. The phone number to central administration is (979) 968- 7000. You may continue to contact your child’s teachers as well through your Remind/DoJo/SeeSaw/Email methods of communication.

The front office emails are:

We will continue to follow the same COVID19 protocols in place which can be found at  www.lgisd.net

For our afternoon pick-up: students in grades PK-3rd (& siblings in 4th-6th) will get picked up much like drop off this morning on Jackson St. You will drive up, & staff will let you know which color your child will be standing by for pick up. Here is a map to help get a visual for the color system. Please make sure you have a car tag with your child(children’s) name(s) to help the line run quickly. If you do not have a car tag, please let Juana Gonzalez know and we can get one to your child for the future (you may also make one if needed for the meantime). 4th -6th grade pick up did NOT change on Travis St.

Thank you for all your support for our Little Leps!

Respectfully,

Lauren Almanza, Principal
