A bus pass must be obtained from the Hermes Office before a student will be allowed to ride a bus other than the one to which he/she is assigned.

A note from the parent is required . The note must state the following:

• Bus #
• The child's destination address
• Who (if riding to another student's home) the child is riding with.

SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION: For emergencies regarding school bus transportation, please call 968-5806.  After hours, call 968-5856.

Hermes Elementary is participating in the Box Tops for Education program.  We appreciate any Box Tops you can save for our school.

Any visitor on campus between 8:15 am & 3:15 pm MUST obtain a Visitors badge from the Hermes office. 

Be prepared to show a photo ID.

Please remain in your vehicle or on the  sidewalks of Hermes Elementary pick-up areas on Jackson or Milam Streets when waiting to pick your child up after school.  If you walk on campus prior to the 3:15 pm dismissal time you must go to the Hermes office, show photo identification, and obtain a Visitor's Pass.

Please do not pull students from their classroom lines.  You must give the Permit to Leave slip from the office to your child's teacher.
