The 2011-2012 year has begun and school activities are in full swing. Students in the High School are busy preparing for their future with classes and extra-curricular activities. Younger students at the K-8 campus are being introduced to new concepts, friends and ideas on a daily basis. The new school year also includes opportunities for the community to be involved with the school. La Grange ISD currently has several volunteer programs aimed at helping students achieve success. I encourage you to be involved in La Grange Schools. Call Cheri Herbrich (968-7000) if you have an interest in being a volunteer.
The new school year will also include a bond election for new school facilities on November 8, 2011. Please review information from the facilities committee, visit the campuses and participate in the election. An information flyer will be mailed out the first two weeks of October to all community members or information can be obtained at 968-7000. We will glad to mail you a copy.
