Hello and welcome to the LGMS Art webpage, I'm Coach Walker.  On this page you will find some general information about our class and projects that our students may be working on at the moment.

*Parents please keep this cost as inexpensive as possible.  If you are unable to have these materials by the assigned date, please let me know and we will work out a solution.

 

 Weekly Schedule:

 We are moving into drawing portraits which will last a couple of weeks.  The first week and a half will be spent on practicing the features of the face.  Ex. Eyes, nose, mouth...  The students will learn my "half formula" process that will allow the features of their portraits to be better aligned, accomplishing a more realistic look.  The section will be concluded by the students doing a half portrait project, which consist of them completing a portrait from a magazine when given the other half to observe.
