February 17 is Random Acts of Kindness Day. It is celebrated by individuals, groups, and organizations nationwide to encourage acts of kindness.
PTO will be doing a school-wide project to celebrate this day. During class, each student at Hermes will trace their hand on paper and write their name and a random act of kindness. A few examples of random acts of kindness could be: pick up trash, let someone in front of you in line at school, hug a friend. PTO and (much needed) volunteers will make a huge set of angel wings to be placed outside the cafeteria.
PTO NEEDS volunteers!!! We need volunteers to help us put our angel wings together. We will start on Sunday, February 17 (time TBD) and finish up on Monday, February 18 (time TBD). PLEASE CONTACT MICHELLE MESSER 832.465.5411 or email@example.com IF YOU CAN VOLUNTEER.
